MAKE A DONATION

The SF Irish Famine Memorial is ready to move from years of planning and design toward construction at Lincoln Park.

Your support will help create a permanent place to remember the victims and survivors of An Gorta Mór and to tell the story of the generations who built new lives in San Francisco and the American West.

TAX-DEDUCTIBLE GIVING

Donations to the SF Irish Famine Memorial are made through the SD Mayer Foundation, our fiscal sponsor.

The SD Mayer Foundation is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) public charity, EIN 32-0477420. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

WHAT YOUR SUPPORT WILL HELP BUILD

Your contribution will help support:

  • Construction of the memorial plaza

  • Historical and interpretive storytelling

  • Landscaping and lighting

  • Design and engineering

  • Future public artwork

  • Project management and related costs

PERMANENT DONOR RECOGNITION

Donors contributing $10,000 or more may have their name or family name included as part of the memorial exhibit.

A gift at this level can be a meaningful way to honor your family, remember an ancestor or loved one, or recognize your connection to the Irish story in San Francisco.

Additional donor recognition opportunities may be developed as the campaign moves forward.

OTHER WAYS TO GIVE

If you prefer to give by check, or if you are considering a leadership gift, corporate gift, planned gift, or another form of support, please contact the Memorial Committee.
